On October 16, the fifth annual career and contacts fair was held at the Damas Hotel. This event is held within the framework of the DAAD project, which is coordinated in Germany by the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ). The project partners and on-site organizers are the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute at KSTU named after I. Razzakov (DKTI, KSTU), the Kyrgyz-German Institute of Applied Informatics at KSUTA named after N. Isanov (INAI.KG, KSUCTA).

During the project, Kyrgyz universities were able to implement internships and training in Germany for students from Kyrgyzstan. And the event itself serves already the fifth year as a platform for meetings with employers. At the opening of the fair, the Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Kyrgyzstan, Mrs. Irja Berg, Professor Rainer Wasinger from WHZ, the representative of the German Academic Exchange Service in the Kyrgyz Republic (DAAD), Mr. Viktor Tsoy, made opening remarks. INAI.KG Director Nurlan Omurov and Director of DKTI Anipa Usupkozhoeva also welcomed the  guests-representatives, companies and students.

A number of major Kyrgyz companies were invited, such as: Alfa Telecom (Megacom), NurTelecom (O!), Halyk Bank, Bai Tushum Bank, Dos-Kredobank OJSC, Kyrgyz Concept, Aknet LLC, Company “Shoro”, LLC “Rolling Plant them. Mv Frunze “, Park Hotel, HYATT regency Bishkek, construction companies” Alpha “and many other firms. According to the registration, more than 50 firms and companies took part.

The students came from the universities of the city of Bishkek, most of them are from the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, KSUCTA named after N.Isanov. Since the information was posted on all social networks of Kyrgyzstan, active students from other universities were able to come. The fair was visited by over 300 people.

Most of the students expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the event, since it was here that they had the opportunity to closely familiarize themselves with the existing vacancies of large firms and companies. Some of them immediately received invitations from firms for practical training, and some did get an invitation to work. Representatives of firms and companies were also pleased with the collecting the CVs among potential employees. The most recent job vacancies for students were offered. Some companies had to go for additional distributing brochures, as students had a very high interest.
In turn, the organizers of the event: Askarbekov R.N. (KSTU named after I.Razzakov) and Danshina A. (KSUTA named after N.Isanov) thanked the representatives of companies and firms, as well as the media partner of the Job.kg fair for participating and providing information.

Summing up the event, it should be noted a noticeable, high interest of the private sector of Kyrgyzstan to such events, where potential employees can be found, and in turn, the applicants themselves, who also learn to identify the needs of the labor market.
