Kyrgyz German Institute of Applied Informatics will organize the focus group “Exploration of applied competencies” in the frame of Digitech Need Analysis to develop a list of targeted trainings offered by European partner universities to bridge identified knowledge and skills gaps

Purpose: Identify genuine skill gaps while accounting for the tendency of stakeholders to express hype-driven expectations.

Duration: 45-60 minutes

Participants: hiring managers or supervisors who directly work with entry-level employees:

●        Large organizations (250+ employees): 2 representatives

●        SMEs (10-249 employees): 3 representatives

●        Startups (<10 employees): 2 representatives

●        Public sector: 1 representative

The session consists of:

Part 1: Grounding in Reality (10 min)
Part 2: Retrospective Deficit Analysis (20 min)
Part 3: Hype Filter (10 min)
Part 4: Forward Look (10 min)
