INAI.kg held the IT conference 2021 "DIGITAL COMPETENCIES IN THE CONTEXT OF "FUTUTE PROFESSIONS".

    The Kyrgyz-German Institute of Applied Informatics held the second international IT conference within the framework of the DAAD project with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research of Germany.

    The topic of the IT conference in 2021: "DIGITAL COMPETENCIES IN THE CONTEXT OF "FUTUTE PROFESSIONS.

    Participants of the international conference discussed the digital skills development challenges faced by today's education system, current and future approaches to developing a higher education program, and identified prospective directions for the development of educational program platforms and the necessary skills for the digital future.

     The conference was attended by Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, KSSDA and HTP, national and German IT companies, professors from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Vilnius Gediminas University, as well as leading universities of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The conference participants recognized the relevance of the purpose of the conference - to form a common strategy for the development of the labor market and the education system aimed at developing knowledge, skills and personal competencies for the digital future and supported:

1. Development of knowledge, skills and personal competencies for a digital future;
2.  Completion of draft professional standards for teachers and educators  vocational education and higher education;  
3. Further development of educational platforms in educational institutions; 
4. Establishment of an IT industry development council to ensure effective interaction between the government, the industry and the education system;
5. Strengthening social partnership between the education system and IT companies;
6.  Creation of a national digital competency framework (for teachers and educational institutions) for a comprehensive understanding of the necessary skills for a digital future and consideration of the possibility of taking appropriate measures, including, if necessary, requesting a decision from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic,; 
7. Creation of an expert group of trade union, industry and education system representatives to develop and agree on professional standards for specialties, IT professions of NGO, vocational and higher education institutions;
8. Creation of new educational programs based on current achievements in the relevant industry and the requirements of the labor markets;
9. Creation and implementation of standards and ethical norms for responsible use of technologies related to big data, e-commerce, encryption, robotics and artificial intelligence;
10. Creation of a digital skills certification system.
